Dave was born in Kansas and spent his younger years in New Jersey.  He moved to Illinois and was there for several years before moving to Tennessee.

Dave married the former Sue Craig in 2003 and together they made up a large blended family.

Dave was an avid fisherman, loved to work with his hands, and worked as a printing pressman for many years.  He was also an ordained minister and spread the gospel as a jail minister in both Jackson and Smith counties for several years.  He and his wife, Sue, rescued and transported many animals over the years after moving to Tennessee, and he loved his fur babies along with his rescue pig "Hammy"!

We will always remember his witty sense of humor, his passion for taking care of his family and animals, his advice on life in general, and his love for the Lord.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice and their staff for all of the kind words, compassionate care, and gentleness with Mr. Solimine during his time of transition of his life.  Nurses, CNAs, Social Workers, Office Staff, and Chaplain.  You know who you are.  And we thank you all!
